Who Was Saradiel?

Saradiel, born in 1832, was a folk hero who robbed British administrators and wealthy elites to help the poor.

He used Uthuwankanda Rock as his strategic hideout, making it nearly impossible for British forces to capture him.

His legendary tactics and daring escapes made him a feared yet admired figure.

In 1864, Saradiel was finally captured, sentenced to death by the British, and executed.
