India pageant , highlighting that the island paradise is capable of holding events of such glamour and glitz, with its cultural backdrop. Mrs. India contest, one of the premier beauty contests in India was held on the 11th of December 2025 , at the ITC Ratnadipa , filling the evening with friendship , glamour and interaction. Mr. Buddhika Hewawasam , Chairman SLTPB , Ms, Shirani Herath ,Marketing officer , Indian Market , Mr. Dushan Wickramasuriya , Director Marketing and Mr. Jinath Bandara , Assistant Director Events were among the distinguished guests which represented Sri Lanka Tourism , including Industry stakeholders and other guests. This event was able to attract many media channels in India, further attracting participants, organizers and media representatives from India, providing an excellent platform to promote Sri Lanka as a premier tourism destination .It was an evening where elegance met empowerment, and extraordinary women taking up to the stage to inspire the world, with their own stories and identities of their own. The evening included curated segments, special performances, along with the grand finale, and inspiring moments that celebrated grace , confidence , and the Spirit of Mrs . India, the pride of a nation. One of the highlights of the event was the cultural performance specially arranged by Sri Lanka Tourism, which showcased itβs cultural grandeur and heritage to the whole world. The event was followed by a gala dinner attended by a large number of distinguished invitees, both from the Tourism, corporate, and hospitality sector.
Throughout the event Sri Lanka Tourism highlighted Sri Lankas rich cultural heritage , and tourism potential to an influential international audience .
